I just came across this really cool English Sinhala Dictionary. It is called Lena which means Squirrel in Sinhala. I meddled around with it and found some interesting features.
Lena is a free online dictionary to translate words from Sinhala to English and English to Sinhala. The Lena English Sinhala Dictionary helps you search for words easily in either language and provides synonyms in the opposite language in a few seconds. The dictionary contains more than 230000 words. It includes terms from various fields such as medicine, science, law, engineering, accounts, arts and many more.
A really great feature in this is that it has an auto complete list box which lists matching words as you type in letters. I also noticed that I could find Sinhala words easily just by typing in the word in English characters. For example when I type in Almariya, it actually shows me the Sinhala word for it.
It also supports wildcard searching in English, Sinhala and also the transliterated form (Singlish). Lena Dictionary also finds closely matching words using an intelligent mechanism.
